Jeff Hecker reviews Sprung in the New Orleans Review. He calls Sprung poetry of “natural endurance and strategy” and “the eye of the tiger.” Love it! Thanks, Jeff.
I have poems in the current issues of California Quarterly and Les Femme Folles and in the anthology Beverage Anthology (Pirene’s Fountain, 2012). My essay “My Sister’s Ghost” appears in the anthology After Dark: A Collection of Haunting Tales (Diversion Press, 2012). I have poems forthcoming in Silver Blade and Strange Horizons. Two poems from Sprung and three poems from First Wife are forthcoming as the feature in Poetry Magazine, Summer 2013. My review “Wishes for New Orleans: The Wishing Tomb by Amanda Autcher,” is forthcoming in the spring 2013 issue of Prairie Schooner, Spring 2013. Finally, forthcoming is the poet on poet interview “‘They Wouldn’t Be Poems If I didn’t Make Them’: A Conversation with Laura Madeline Wiseman” in Menacing Hedge by Amorak Heuy. We talk about Sprung and my forthcoming collection First Wife from Hyacinth Girl Press.
